Statement of Christian Faith
Receiving Jesus is the only way to obtain relationship with Him, God the Father, Holy Spirit & have the promise of eternity in Heaven.
John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Ephesians 2:4-5: "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved."
John 1:12 "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name!"
Exodus 34:14 “There is no other God.”
Acts 10:36 "You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all."

Exodus 34:14 “There is no other God.”
Acts 10:36 "You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all."
After receiving Christ Jesus as Savior, we should be fully baptized as Jesus was, as an act of obedience, signifying the burial of our sins & coming out in new life,
Matthew 3:6 “Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.”
Matthew 3:13 “Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.”
Matthew 3:13 “Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.”
We should read the Bible daily to understand & know God & His ways more deeper, to receive fresh revelation from & be able to apply His principles to our lives, know His voice & be led by the Holy Spirit.
2 Tim 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who
correctly handles the word of truth.”
Ephesians 1:17 "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better."
John 16:13-14 "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you."

We are to be sensitive & live life according to the Word of God & the Holy Spirit which will not disagree with each other.
Zechariah 4:6 “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
John 16:13 "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."
John 16:13 "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."
After receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, sanctification is a process of becoming set apart from the way the world functions.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”
Romans 12:1-2 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
John 14:20 "On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me."
Continue to ask God for forgiveness of sin & repent.
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
1 John 2:1 "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."
Worship in song increases the presence of God & is His due adoration.
Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”
Psalm 45:6-7 “Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. “For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.”
Psalm 95:6 “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.”
James 4:8 “Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
We should pray for ourselves and others.
1 Tim 2:1 “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people."
James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
We should fellowship with other believers regularly in church attendance, bible study & other gatherings.
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

2 Corinthians 3:5-7 "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
Matthew 10:8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give."

Matthew 10:8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give."
The believer in Christ may also receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the gift of tongues.
Acts 2:4 "Acts 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."
1 Corinthians 14:2 "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. •• Speaking in tongues is speaking “in the spirit”.
Acts 10:38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him."
All the gifts of the Holy Spirit are functioning in the body of Christ today.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines."
1 Corinthians 12:27—31 “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts."

Jesus is coming back for His church
Revelation 22:7 "Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll."
Why everyone needs Jesus, the Savior.
How you can experience the fullness of Christ's love & salvation.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We all have sin in our hearts. We all were born with a sin nature.
We were born under the power of sin's control.
- Admit that you are a sinner.
We were born under the power of sin's control.
- Admit that you are a sinner.
Romans 6:23a "...The wages of sin is death..."
Sin has an ending. It results in death. We all face physical death, which is a result of sin. But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from God, and will last for all eternity. The Bible teaches that there is a place called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever. It is the place where people who are spiritually dead will remain.
- Understand that you deserve death for your sin.
- Understand that you deserve death for your sin.
Romans 6:23 "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Salvation is a free gift from God to you! You can't earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.
- Ask God to forgive you and save you.
- Ask God to forgive you and save you.
Romans 5:8 "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"
When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's penalty. He paid the price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death! The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us, understanding that we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life. He did all this because He loved us and gave Himself for us!
- Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have forgiveness and change. His love bought you out of being a slave to sin. His love is what saves you -- not religion, or church membership. God loves you!
- Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have forgiveness and change. His love bought you out of being a slave to sin. His love is what saves you -- not religion, or church membership. God loves you!
Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!"
Romans 10:9-10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
Here is how you can now have a relationship with Jesus, God & the Holy Spirit.
You'll become a child of God, have the promises of God here on earth
& assurance of eternity in heaven.
Pray this prayer
Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, I have sinned & that I am not right with you. But I believe God has a greater plan.
I believe with my heart that you were sent by Your father, God, & were crucified & died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin in place of me. I believe You rose again from the grave in all power, ascended into heaven & are seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe you accomplished this out of your love for me, that I could have this very moment to become your child & have peace with you.
Please forgive me...the offenses & mistakes I have committed, knowingly and unknowingly. I am sorry.
I surrender my life to you turning my back on sin. I no longer want to live without you. Please wash me in your blood that you shed on the cross to save me. Cleanse me. Give me a new, pure heart, that I may be pleasing to you.
By faith, I ask you to come live inside of me. I want to know you & do life your way. Heal my life.
I receive your love and gift of salvation right now. Thank you for making me a brand-new person--born-again.
Show yourself to me & help me to live for you that I may tell others about you.
Baptize & fill me with the Holy Spirit now & that I may receive my own prayer language.
Show me the purpose you have planned for my life.
Jesus is Lord!
Thank you, Jesus! I love you. I pray this is Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you just prayed that prayer sincerely,
you have just now become born-again, a new creation!
